Riyadh: Many who were approached for comments on Bin Laden's killing refused to speak due to the sensitivity of the issue since the announcement on Monday of the killing of Saudi-born Osama Bin Laden, common Saudis were expressing a mixed bag of views.
Though some couldn't believe the official US statement on the killing of Bin Laden, others felt relieved that their decade-long link with Bin Laden may have come to an end.
Many who were approached for comments on Bin Laden's killing refused to speak due to the sensitivity of the issue here.
Faisal, an IT student, said some Saudis are asking whether it was right to hold funeral prayers for the soul of Bin Laden.
"Bin Laden was bad, no doubt about it, but he was killed by an infidel," he commented.
